From its inception, Duffy’s Hope, Inc., has been touching the lives of youth between the ages of 12-17 from the communities of Wilmington, Delaware.  Outreach efforts are fun and educational and coordinated by a team of dedicated volunteers and community members.

Duffy’s Hope, Inc. was established in 1998 by Allen “Duffy” Samuels as part of the Wilmington Youth Organization.  In November 2002, Duffy’s Hope, Inc. obtained 501(c)(3) tax exempt status and has since become an independent entity.  The organization has served more than 2,800 youth through youth HIV/AIDS Forums, Youth Basketball League, and celebrity softball and basketball games.

The funds raised from the celebrity events, and the generous donations of private sponsors, supportthe outreach efforts of the Duffy’s Hope, Inc. including the H.O.P.E. Program.
