Konrad Kmetz is a Retiree of E.I. DuPont deNemours Company. He has extensive experience in agricultural products business. Specifically, his international agriculture experience has led to dealings in more than 45 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Konrad’s career expertise was built on crop protection, field biology, research management, business development and project management competencies. His past positions have allowed him to gain significant experience in leading people in research and project team operations. Konrad’s past product development roles resulted in $250 million in new business revenue during a 31 and half-year career. He is also leading a successful post-DuPont career as a consultant. Konrad has contributed meaningful work to the University of Delaware, which entailed working in several science and technology areas. He succeeded in an urban agriculture role through which he worked for Delaware Urban Farm and Food Coalition, as well as in several short projects for DuPont Agricultural Products. Konrad also enjoyed a half-time position as Director of Business Development for the Advanced BioNutrition Corporation located in Columbia, Maryland. He enjoys active community service involvement and holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
